Yamaguchi was the top airbrush artist in Japan and the leading female graphic artist in the world.  Her girls were sexy, but active, Westernized—and yet, despite these limitations, Yamaguchi’s knowingly images somehow also presented a powerful vision of what women could be, embodying more than mere erotic fantasies.  Yamaguchi’s powerful, vibrant and elegantly refined illustrations, were a new wave of femininity and even today continue to speak volumes. Yamaguchi’s work felt contemporary, almost pioneering and continue to fascinate us as vividly as ever. This book, first published in 1978, is an air-sprayed fantasy! As huge as sexy (o)(o)
