FAW is a Spain-based independent project that aims at stimulating ideas, concepts and reflections around books, by exploring their course of last two centuries and its place in visual culture. Our mission is to give value to used and rare books, as well as highlight their influence on society and their possibilities to generate new conversations/content. To stimulate creativity and contribute to contemporary production are inherent in our spirit.

We are a passionate team, dedicated to investigate a wide range of cultural expressions, to bring you the best selection items from across the globe; and that’s the essence FAW lives by. Inspiring, promoting access and share knowledge are vital to our project. We celebrate art, fashion, cinema, design, architecture, music, ecology, counterculture and social movements.

We care for people and the planet. We support diversity and sustainability. We believe that vintage books have an enormous potential to expand and communicate old/new ideas, and amplify voices. FAW is a project but also is a philosophy.

The project currently encompasses a wide range of areas and activities within the discursive lines of FAW, including a Bookroom, archive and e-shop. We offer consultancy, loan, education programs, personal library organization and personalized search/research service. We collaborate with institutions, companies or just individuals.
