This book is insane for everything you already imagine ;) Best book cover and typography in all time. Super cool!Cocaine Consumer's Handbook is within underground 'manuals' to the coke life. Since the cocaine was illegal drug, there was a shortage of guides to it, its chemistry and lifestyle accoutrements, but there are gems like this thanks to authors like David Lee.Someone who knew well the publishing house told us once that in the 1981-83 period And/Or Press suffered an 'hostile corporate take over' because they were making too much money. This corporate raiders took And/Or were forced into bankruptcy -along with David Lee-. Many And/Or Press books were lost during that period.. including the Cocaine Consumer's Handbook and several others. The company apparently got the rights and reprinted one print run from the old And/Or Press printing plates, that’s how they did it in those days. Because of this, it has become a very scarce volume. Sometimes you can find a copy of the 80s, obviously reprint, but you are not likely to find a first edition... almost gone... So the really weird and very special thing is to have a first edition and first printing from 1976. And it’s here, in FAW!First edition, first printing os this essential reference! Fifty six pages about all you everything you shouldn't know about cocaine ^_^ Apperance, varieties, adulterants, clorox and alternative test... Thousand favorite pages, for one, the Origami page! A crazy page which perhaps we could use to make a package for the COVID 19 mask.
