Probably the most great and best Dali book. A wonderful retrospective of the Dalinian Universe. Exceptional 400 pages of his magic mind.
Published in 1979 in this original softcover, cloth covered edition. And the print? You recognize it? ;) Yes, the Tears Dress (1938) by Elsa Schiaparelli was part of Schiaparelli's famous 'Circus Collection' and it was considered to be one of her most famous designs! The trompe l'oeil (illusionistic) 'Tears' print was specially designed by Schiaparelli's friend, Dali.
Completely nice book from its design edition to its contents: gorgeous paints, drawings and sculptures, Buñuel film sequence pages, pictures of Dalí and Gala...
