This book, written by Eva Esmann one of the first inhabitants of the place -her son Victor gave Christiania its name-, is a nice square publication with pictures and texts about life in Christiania, houses, traditions, jobs, leisure time... And the translation of its title is There is a rainbow in Christiania :)

A utopia in the middle of Copenhagen (Denmark) that it was founded as a breakaway anarchist commune in 1971 located in a former military complex in the country's capital.

Christiania was a community that operated independently where highest authority was the community-meeting. Christiania’s self-management was built on, that every individual had a responsibility for his/her own life and his/hers home.

Freetown Christiania, or just Christiania, was an unique place and the books about this utopia show you that!
