Bloomsbury, 1995. Softcover. 64 pages. 34 x 27 cm. Text in English. Used. VG · The plastic dustjacket has some tears in the corners (as shown) and backcover. Nice Björk large book from 1995 with transparent printed dust jacket. A pictorial and write record of the making of her second studio album 'Post'.  It includes 64 pages of iconic imagery, thoughts, interviews with Bjork herself and those working closely with her on the European tour. Björk chose the title Post because it refers to the fact that all the songs on the album were written after her move to England and because the title was inspired by desire to communicate with friends and family back in Iceland, giving Post the additional meaning of 'mail'. This is an art pop classic album, features an eclectic mixture of electronic and dance styles, making Post an album that's post-everything but akin to nothing else. Written after she moved to London and became immersed in the city's underground club culture.
