Super scarce, beautiful and majorly impressive Prada look book from S/S 1989 collection. Published in 1988, the year of the first Prada prêt-à-porter collection, and photographed by Albert Watson, who captured of grandeur of the empire Prada, founded as a leather goods company in 1913.
Watson's images reflected glamour, luxury and sex appeal in the early years of Italian fashion, and Miuccia Prada too.
Seduction scenes with perfect wallets and handbags and the stylish simplicity of combination of nude body, tumbled hair, satin dress, flowers fabrics, unmade bed, coffee, some metal and some leather, of course the leather with imposing black. Like, the ostrich wallet spilling money or holding a coffee are surely both the story, but not in an obvious way. Brilliant!
In addition, the book includes an interview with Albert Watson about the ideas behind his shoot.
