Personal project by Taishi Hirokawa, the renowned photographer, where he photographed people of the Japanese countryside. You can see farmers, fishermen, students, and other workers or really nice subjects wearing the conceptual creations and outfits pieces by Issey Miyake, Comme Des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Kansai Yamamoto, Monsieur Nicole, Obscure Desire of Bourgoise and others.
The relation ship between ordinary people and the clothing is very interesting, an unusual juxtaposition of typical fashion editorial. Here the images are really natural because they are taken outside the city, showing Japanese country people who kindly posed for his camera without any interest in fashion. Definitely a stunning, unique and reference book of unconventional fashion photography.
Plus, format book large folio ;)
